Renovating a Brick Garden Shed

This shed had been pretty much abandoned for some years and due to very poor ventilation, had gone damp and mouldy.

After first clearing everything out, the first job was to use my angle grinder, to cut out a hole for the air brick.

Which was extremely hard work, took a very long time and seemed to just go on and on and on and on.

And on . . .

. . . and on . . .

. . . and on . . .

Until finally, I made it through.

I next scraped and sanded off all the loose, flaky paint and sealed the walls with stabilizing solution.

Put the first coat of paint on the walls . . .

Cemented in the air brick.

Repaired the bottoms of the door frames with fibreglass filler.

Took the door off, removed the furniture and then gave it a very thorough sanding . . .

. . . and gave it three coats of varnish..

The finished project.
