Remove chimney breast, make good & decorate
In the immediate area in which I'm working, a chimney breast was removed (by a qualified builder) in order to increase the living space in this small bedroom. Here, I am fixing frame work to the existing ceiling joists, in preparation for boarding out the hole where the chimney breast used to be.
Floating out the exposed brick area, prior to plastering.
Plastered (Please Note: Not a single drop of plaster on the floor or the newly fitted sections of skirting)
First coat of paint. (Please Note: The door sheeted over with​ plastic protection and the light switch unscrewed and covered in masking tape).
Finished painted. (Please Note: No visible join lines where the chimney breast was removed)
