
Putting up new fence panels and trellis
​I needed a labourer to help me with this job. As it's extremely difficult, all alone, to do the amount of digging out that was required, and also, to manoeuvre the large, heavy 6 feet fence panels into place, in order to get them all into their exact, correct positions - all nice & perfectly, straight & level.
Starting from the wall . . .

. . . And using a string line (not visible in the photos) as a guide . . .


The three large fence panels were put into a nice, straight line, we cemented the posts in, then the earth was filled in and levelled off.

Three pieces of trellis were then cut and fitted.
We then sawed a small piece off a full sized panel, to fit into the small gap that was left.

And lastly, we cut and fitted two large pieces of trellis onto the back wall.
