The mastic seals on the outside of this bay window had deteriorated over time, which had allowed rainwater to enter on both sides, causing the paintwork inside to flake and fall off.
Flaking off here . . .
. . . flaking and stains here.
I taped up and sheeted out the area to be worked.
Scraped, sanded and began filling.
Several layers of filler to repair the damage.
And I sprayed on some stain block to cover these stains.
And two coats of paint later - the job is completed.
