                                                                  About Me
3 Tier Plastering 1_edited.jpg

My name is Paul. I've worked in the construction industry since 1989 - where I started in the traditional way as a young labourer - first learning the essential arts of keeping the site constantly tidy and organised and sweeping up after myself. Extremely, vital skills which many people in my industry seem unable to master their entire working lives.

I've watched the birth and rise of the health and safety culture, as well as the employment agency culture and the internet and have witnessed first hand the enormous changes to the industry they have all brought with them.

(i.e. I've been doing this a very long time and am therefore extremely experienced.)

I've mainly tended to focus on general maintenance and repairs, plastering, rendering and painting and decorating. Over the years I've gained basic experience in most things such as groundwork, carpentry, tiling, silicone sealing, gardening, landscape gardening and fencing. I can do simple plumbing such as fit new taps, replace worn radiator valves and repair blocked/damaged pipes etc. I don't touch anything electrical, complexed plumbing nor any structural work.

Over the years I've worked on a huge range of different projects from high spec. city centre offices, hotels, supermarkets, shops, factories, old folks homes, private homes, private rentals, housing associations, barn conversions, garden sheds . . .

I have a City and Guilds qualification in plastering and rendering and am also highly experienced in a huge range of multiple aspects in the general property maintenance/construction industry.
